VIKRAM'S POV:
"Amma, Please come fast I am getting late for college," I called out checking the time on my wristwatch.
I had been waiting for 10 minutes standing out at the car, I tsked when my timing was running out. I released a breath watching her arrival "I am ready," She squealed happily beaming a smile on her lips.
" Mrs. Anjali Devi Chandrasekhar, Me abbai college ki velladaniki late avuthundi ani telisi kuda meru intha free ga unnaru ante, Hats off to you," I said sarcastically bowing my head and she smacked my cheek playfully.
"Mrs. Anjali Devi Chandrasekhar, you are walking so calmly even knowing that your son will be late for college, Hats off to you, "
"Amma," I was annoyed at her antics when I heard giggle sounds, " Nee College ki nuvvu oka roju late ga velladam lo thappu em ledu ," She said while hoping on her seat after I opened the door to her.
"There is nothing wrong going to your own college late for one day," She convinced me and I glared at her.
" Kani vallaki telidu kadha neney college owner ani?" I said starting the car to go, She nodded at me.
"But they didn't know I am the owner of the college"
I have a secret that nobody knows. I am the owner of the college where I work as a professor. Although I have the skills to teach postgraduate students, I have turned down numerous offers to work as a professor in other colleges. I already have enough responsibilities on my plate."
I own twenty colleges, ten different categories of businesses under the name VA, fifteen resorts, fifty restaurants, and twenty-five gym centers.
These businesses are all registered under the name of VA, but no one knows that I am the owner of all of them because I operate them anonymously.
No one is oblivious about me i.e., VIKRAM ADITYA JOSHI an ordinary Mathematics professor tangled many businesses around his little figure.
After my father died because of Lung cancer, his company responsibilities weighed on my shoulders. As years passed, I started to do every business I was interested in and spread my territory there.
"Amma,Ee roju ae temple daggara ninnu drop cheyali nenu? I asked my mother looking at the road and her alternatively, she turned her face to me and I noticed a cunningness hanging on her looks.
"Mother, In which temple I have to drop you today?"
"Lord Ganesh" I hummed turning my path to the Lord Ganesh temple. I dropped her and she asked me to come with her but I refused and went to the way of college.
I growled when I was trapped in the traffic jam, "Move that fucking car," I yelled as rolling my car window, I exhaled breath when Traffic got cleared fast I changed my gear to flew to my way.
I was again locked up in the traffic Jam I looked outside watching two people arguing and blaming each other about a minor accident, my patience was long gone I got out of the car and read to dismantle them with my anger.
As a girl passed by me, her intoxicating scent lingered in the air for a few seconds. This caused my breath to become uneven and my body to become paralyzed. I clenched my fists to control my rage, but my heart began to hate her. I couldn't believe that a mere few seconds of her presence had such a strong influence on me.
I followed behind her and she went to them and started to talk with them to my surprise she stopped their fight just in a few minutes. I stood in front of her and continued to look at her who was trying to settle the argument between them, I checked on her from head to toe.
She had brown skin and sunlight reflected on her skin making her body shine, her black eyes held kindness, and black color round glasses perched on her little nose, a stone pierce on her nose which sparkled when light contacted it, A smile tugged at her pink lips and her neck decorated by a golden chain she wore white and sky blue color Shalwar Kameez, every time she moved her hands her silver bangles clanked each other making my heart beat raise, I dropped my eyes at her feet watching her anklets.
"Excuse me, Sir," My looks distracted by her voice, I gulped dryly when her voice impacted my body parts, for the first time my words sealed in my throat, my body in a frozen state making me march my way to my car ignoring her words before my body started to show out her impacts.
I sat in my car took deep breaths and gulped water calming down my racing heart, closed my eyes to take control of my mind clearing my thoughts about her I looked at the traffic signal and cursed lowly when it showed a red signal.
I was cursing when I heard a knocking sound at my window. Irritated, I rolled it down. However, when I saw her eyes, I felt a strange sensation I had never experienced before. Her gaze had a powerful influence on me, making me obey her words without even fully comprehending them. I was so mesmerized by her eyes that my vision took over my hearing, and I found myself nodding like a puppet.
As she threw a smile at me, my actions came to a halt. The unknown feelings in my heart swelled as she placed a plant in my hand. "Thank you, sir, for accepting this plant as our gesture," she said before moving away to attend to other cars.
She stood in the middle of the road holding a mike in her hand, she glanced at someone beside her and that person nodded with a smile. She took a deep breath, "Thank you all who spared time for us to hear my words," She said in her high-pitched voice while joining hands in Namaste.
My curiosity raised what she was about to say, "So People, we are near to the summer season and know how much heat is produced by our sun,..."
"Our sun, " I mutter with a chuckle sound.
She continued, "To reduce a little bit of heat waves, we have to plant trees to protect us, animals and birds from the Sun,"
As she walked towards my car, she smiled and continued her speech. Her smile made my heart race. "Many people didn't want to do this for various reasons, but I have an excellent idea to increase your excitement about this task," she said and then paused in her speech.
"What's that girl,?" Someone yelled
"As a symbol of your achievements, plant a sapling in your garden every time you reach a goal. The more goals you achieve, the more plants you should plant in your garden" An unknown smile crept on my lips at her crazy idea.
"Two birds with one stone." She said winking and smiling joyfully. Some people clapped at her idea and made her bow respecting them.
"Let's protect our Earth by planting more trees", she cheered with a smile, as the crowd joined in agreement.
She looked at the red signal counting and continued giving the remaining plants to all of the people, "You look so beautiful," A boy said while taking the plants from her hands making me possessive.
"What the fuck happened to me?" I asked myself looking at her who was smiling at him increasing my rage "Thank you so much sir," She said and bowed formally making me surprised.
"Ahhh, This girl made me insane," I cursed when she constantly made my heartbeat rise with her every action that frustrated me a lot. I expected she would blush at his words and his flirty looks but she thanked him formally holding eye contact with him who was trying to flirt with her making my hate bar for her raised even more.
" I hate you," I screamed at her making her act stop her smile faded away and my ego boosted watching her face, a smirk tugged at my lips but it faded away when I noticed her smile blossomed again on her lips.
"Thank you sir sparing time to hate me," She said calmly and my brows knitted hearing her words," But don't waste time hating others because it's precious," she shrugged and walked toward me and I scoffed at her words.
"I hate you a lot," I said again looking at her intimately but her smile didn't fade the slightest bit causing my ego to hurt.
She nodded, "Have a great day, sir," leaving me in a dilemma.
A car sound made me brought back to reality and I saw a green signal ahead, so I gripped the steering wheel and shifted gears to weave through traffic to my college.
"I hate girls because you are manipulating bitches," I cursed.
BHUMI'S POV:
"Amma, Nenu Intiki vacheysanu " I called out as washing my feet at the faucet and entered the home. I closed my eyes when a sweet smell hit my nose, I looked around while sneaking into the Kitchen I caught a mouth-watering sight my hands were craving to capture and devour them.
Maa, I am came to home
I looked around and decided none of my family was not there, I glanced at the food which was displayed on the dining table I opened the lids of the vessels to know the dishes but those were snacks like pakodi, Mirapakaya bajji, Gulab Jamun, laddu, karaboondhi .
I was confused, " Today is neither festival nor my birthday why did my mother make these snacks specifically," I said to myself
"Bhumi," I turned around and met my mother, a huge smile spread on her lips, her face brightened watching me, her eyes sparkled gazing me up and down " Maa, Enti idhi antha?" I questioned her.
"Maa, what's all this?"
"velli ready avvu," My mother nudged me into my room " Kani, Amma" I was about to ask " vellu ani cheppanu " She ordered and I nodded then went to my room, and after bathing I came out wearing a towel.
Go and get ready,
But Amma,
I said go,"
I was about to wear pajamas but my mother came to my room and placed a saree on my bed, "Veysuko," I frowned and looked at her "Why do I have to wear this? I asked but she didn't respond to my question and instead glared at me "Ok fine," I said even though I didn't want to wear it.
Wear it,
Let me introduce myself, I am Bhumi, 19 years old, and have a small family which is me, Amma, Nanna, and my pet Rocky. My family's financial state was just average but rich in happiness well because we were satisfied with what we had.
I was working as a part-time worker in a plant nursery and maintaining my studies along with it. Last year, we built a house that's my father's dream finally it was accomplished but we have a debit to clear it.
For that, I was working as a part-time worker to take a little bit of responsibility from my father. My father objected but my mother convinced him. To clear our loan I was a part-time worker in college times but on holidays I am a full-time worker.
For my expenses, I sell handmade crafts to my friends and plan to evaluate my work with online customers.
"I dressed in a blue saree. Then, I combed my hair and attached a rose to my long, silk-braided hair. I put a bindi between my brows and checked myself in the mirror. I smiled to myself while wearing my glasses."
I heard some voices a curiosity piqued in my mind made me peek into the way of our living room, A person sat on the couch while smiling and I bent more desiring to look at his face "Who is he?" I said to myself.
I took a step out of my room and bent to look at his face, he glanced at me, and I froze in my place watching him again "No, he is not the one who I think " I said to myself.
To confirm I bent one more time and glanced at him, "Be positive, Bhumi " I said to myself watching him who was talking to someone beside him I was waiting to watch his face again and he turned his face and looked at me, my breath hitched watching him in my home "That's him," I muttered an unknown fear run through over my body,
I went to my room and locked myself in it, "Bhumi, What to do now? Think, Think " I said to myself while walking to and fro motion in my room.
"Escape," I said and walked toward the window as I opened it took a deep breath to run from this situation but I halted in my place when someone knocking my door "Oh god, Please help me," I prayed and was about to jump from the window.
"Bhumi, open the door," I heard a familiar voice stopping my actions again and opening it without thinking anything "Oh my god, Anjali Aunty," I squealed happily.
"Oh My baby, I missed you so much," She stretched her hands and I flew into her embrace and melted in it. Maybe she would help me from my situation, "You are looking gorgeous," She praised making me blush in her hug.
"Let's go, I have to talk about an important matter," She said and I breached her hug and nodded. She took me to the living room and made me sit on the couch beside him.
Why she seated me beside him? I frowned.
Why did my mother make me wear this saree?
What's happening here,?
"Why this idiot came to my home,?
I didn't glance at anyone, millions of questions whirling in my mind, and didn't know who I had to ask to clear my mind, I looked at his feet which were tapping on the ground, I slowly forward my feet comparing them with him, "It's big," I whispered.
A throat-clearing sound snapped from my actions and made me look at his face, I met his brown orbs which held warmth, a sharp nose, thin lips that were pale pink, clean shave, and a sharp jaw-line, my checking on him halted when he made a throat sound again making my eyes snapped at him.
"Bhumi," I glanced at Anjali Aunty " Will you marry my son,?" My eyes widened at her words and my jaw dropped without my consent, I glanced at him and caught a smirk on his lips which were replaced with a smile.
what the hell?
Me?
Marry?
Him, This idiot?
"No, Way?" I gritted my teeth when my questions swirled one after another without my consent.
What my parents were thinking about me? I haven't completed my studies yet and never thought about marrying someone. Why did this happen to me even though I'm not interested in marriage things mainly about him?
My thoughts ceased in the path when someone touched my shoulders, I glanced at her, "Bhumi," bringing me to reality.
"Your S-Son?" I asked her and she nodded with a smile.
"Did he plan revenge on me?" I muttered while looking at him who held an innocent smile on his face which I didn't like.
"This guy thinks that I didn't know his double actions" I smirked to myself.
"No way," I said sternly making my parents and Anjali Aunty smile drop.
"I am ready to marry anyone in this world except him," I yelled while pointing at him. When I looked at him, his smile didn't falter, which frustrated me even more.
"Bhumi," I heard my mother's warning tone and immediately closed my mouth, refraining from saying anything further. I glanced over at Anjali Aunty, who wore a sad and stressed expression that made me lower my head in remorse. I loved her dearly, but I didn't dare to look at her at that moment.
"I want to talk with you, Bhumi," he said as standing and looked at me. I frowned and glanced at him " Please," My jaw dropped at dual nature.
"This idiot wants to die in my hands," I muttered
"Bhumi, go and talk to him," my mother ordered. "Amma," I whined, but she gave me a stern look, making me nod in agreement. If I objected to her words, there would be a tsunami of consequences coming my way. I glanced at my father, hoping he would come to my rescue, but he pleaded with his eyes for me to comply, and I sighed.
"Take him to your room," I growled when I heard my mother's voice "This room," I said pointing to my room and he nodded.
we went to my room and he locked the door making me frightened, "Bhumi, You have to marry me," He demanded crossing his arms to his chest.
I laughed at him loudly, "I don't know who you are, neither your name nor interested in knowing it," I said calmly.
" I am asking you again, would you marry me or not?" he asked spreading a dangerous aura throughout the room, my eyes started to rake his body, and my mouth dried watching his muscles, hard chest, his blue shirt tightly fitted to his gym body "Ok Bhumi, let's forgot about the matching outfit that's a pure coincidence," I said to myself brushing my weird thoughts.
I gathered my confidence," No, Way " I yelled
He smirked and took a few steps toward me "Hey, stay there," I warned him as I stepped back until collided with the wall, I gulped watching his eyes I heard a tore sound, and a gasp left my mouth watching his shirt tear resulting from fisting his palm.
That was hot,
He wrapped his fingers around my neck ceasing my breath flow, he closed our distance until our breaths mingled with each other, I closed my eyes an unknown fear loomed over my heart, "Wife, Look at me," He roared.
My anger dominated my fear making me look at him holding hardness in my eyes, " I am not your W--" His kiss cut off my words, I tried to push him but this huge man didn't budge and started to punch him but he held my hands over my head, locking me between him and the wall.
He held my hands in one hand taking this chance I tried to remove myself from his grip but he held my wrists tightly, My eyes widened when he traced my bare waist I squirmed under him, and he tried to open my mouth with his tongue but I didn't give him chance, he made me open my mouth when he pinched my bare waist, a gasp left my mouth.
To stop him I bit his tongue and he yelped and left my lips I smirked at him but I caught a victory smile on his lips, "Wife, I stole your first kiss," He said making me understand and I gasped realizing the fact.
"Now, you are my wife even though I am not married to you yet, according to your rule, the one who got your first kiss must be your husband,"
My lips parted with shock, "How do you know this,? " I demanded but he shrugged.
"How dare you stalk me," I said raising my hand to smack him but he caught my hand and turned me around and hugged me from back, his hands wrapped around my waist seizing me and my hands in his cage.
"Leave me you bastard," I screamed and squirmed "Shhhh," he made a sound near my ears making my acts stop, "Baby, It's a sin to call your husband a bastard," he said making me frustrated.
"Buffalo," I shouted turning my face but he pecked my forehead, " Ok, I am Buffalo and you are cow, the best match," He said making me annoyed.
"Bullshit," I said frustratedly
"By the way, Your husband's name is Vikram Aditya Joshi, " He said in his deep voice making me shut my eyes, goose bumps erupted from my body I bit my lip not wanting to surrender at his voice.
"Leave me," I said sternly and he hummed.
I wiped my lips and forehead in front of him, "Look Mr. I never and ever marry you don't even dare to dream about me as your wife," I stated firmly but he chuckled.
"Did he lose his mind," I frowned internally
"Why? Do you love someone?" He asked crossing his arms to his chest.
"Bhumi, don't miss this chance, say you love someone escaping from this huge man that's the best solution for now," I smirked to myself at my crazy idea.
"Bhumi," He called softly and I ignored the butterflies in my stomach, I looked at him "Yes, I love someone and I'll marry him," I said calmly.
I expected a shocked expression but I didn't catch it from his eyes, "OK, I think he didn't believe my words then I'll add some words to it to make him leave me," I smirked to myself.
"The thing is I lost my virginity with him," I said acting shy in front of him.
"Bhumi, you have a wonderful career as an actress," I praised myself.
My thoughts dispersed when he choked my neck with his fingers, " I hate lairs and also know that you never love someone before," I gulped when I caught his dark eyes when he squeezed my neck and I squirmed wanting to escape him, " Even, You lost your virginity with someone I don't fucking care, because ..." I looked at him blinking my eyes.
"I "
"Love,"
"You,"
"My wife,
" Bhumi Joshi,"
He said smashing his lips on mine. My breath hitched hearing his confession, he loosened the hold on my neck pulling me towards him when I tried to leave him, I punched his chest wanting to breathe and he left me before biting my lips.
I hissed in pain and smacked his cheek, " I hate you," I yelled wiping my lips and forehead but he smiled at me and pecked my lips and forehead " I love you," He grinned.
I wiped my lips and forehead again but he pecked my lips and forehead, "Ah, You Idiot," I cursed
"The more you wiped my kisses the more chances I get to kiss you," He said stopping my actions, I exhaled air to calm myself, "For my Aunty's sake, I forgive you," I said.
"My sweet Wife, I didn't say sorry to you " He retorted and I groaned
"Get Out," I yelled.
"By the way, you look so cute in your childhood photo wearing yellow underwear and holding Ice cream with a runny nose," I gasped looking at my photo without a second I ran to the wall where my photos were decorated then I took it and hid it under my bed, "Please, Get out Vikram Aditya" I pleaded with him and he nodded making me sigh in relief.
He went out of my room making me relax, " You Idiot," I turned my body to the wall and started to curse at him.
"Rogue,"
"Bastard,"
" Vikram Aditya, I'll kill you," I screamed in the air,
"I hate ...."He cut off my words " I love you so much Bhumi," He said leaning toward the door holding warmth and love in his eyes but I ignored the fact rudely.
"Oh my God, Why did he come again?"
"what do you want?" I said aloud. But he didn't react to my words instead he marched toward me "I'll miss you so much," He said and hugged me.
I was shocked at his sudden action, "Marry me, Wife," He asked in a soft voice, my mind went blank not knowing how to react, he squeezed me in his hug making me hiss, " I am so sorry baby, I just excited a little bit," he said parting from me.
"How dare you touch me? Who gave the audacity to kiss me?" I screamed stomping my feet on the ground. I looked around my eyes caught a knife beside my bed I took it and showed him, "Go and tell them that you don't want to marry me OK? otherwise ..? My brain stuck
"Otherwise...?" He asked tilting his head to the side and folding his arms to his chest with one hand he held his chin and gazed at me with interesting eyes like I was telling the story to him "O-Otherwise, I'll kill y-you," I said showing my knife.
"Dare to do then?" He challenged me making me shocked, I left the knife and raised my hands in the surrender position, "Mr. Vikram Aditya, Please leave me, " I pleaded but he shook his head raising my rage more.
"Bastard," I yelled.
"Shhh, It's a sin calling your husband a bastard," He said with a smile ignoring my curses. " I have a damn right to touch you, kiss you, hug you and I am the only one who had it because..." He gave a void in his words increasing my curiosity.
"Because...?" I asked squinching my eyes
"Because you are my Wife and I am your husband," He said pulling me in his hug and making our chests collide, a gasp left my mouth, and a manly smell hit my nose which caused my brain function to cease, an unknown smile held on my face.
"Wait, what the hell, I am doing?" I asked myself to come out of the fantasy world I hit my head on his hard chest earning a chuckling sound along with vibrations on his chest made me stop my acts, "Leave me," I demanded but he shook his head, "Never,"
I wriggled making me leave, "Mr. Vikram Aditya Joshi, You have plenty of options to choose a wife for you in this world, Please choose another woman," I pleaded wanting to convince him.
"Wife, Let me tell you one point, " I looked at him with curiosity eyes "I don't want any other woman except you, because you are the only one I need and want " My shoulders drained but I got a crazy idea from escape this marriage and I smiled.
"Bhumi, If you dare to escape from me, I'll seize you from this world mind it," He said making my eyes widen "You are my wife, that's fixed," He confirmed making me whine.
He hugged me ignoring my consent, "I love you so much, Bhumi " He said and I didn't do anything in his hug because it was a waste of my energy, "Baby, the mole on the left side of your waist looks so hot," He said breached the hug leaving me in shock
He held my cheeks and pecked my lips, " I 'll miss you," and he stretched my hand and placed a card " It's yours now, and PIN Your birthdate " He said and pecked a few more times on my lips and left me.
I didn't how much time I spent standing in the same place, " Bhumi," My father's voice brought me to reality and I shook my head " Nanna, Please leave me alone " I said and walked toward my bed.
" I hate you bastard, Vikram Aditya Joshi," I screamed and threw his debit card in the dustbin, I slumped on my bed " I hate you," I said lowly.
I groaned when my phone rang continuously and answered it, " Hello, who is this? I asked closing my eyes and feeling exhausted.
"It's me, Your husband, " He said proudly and I rolled my eyes" Well, I forgot to say, you look marvelous in your blue saree," He said.
"Ok, Thank you, Mr. Vikram Aditya," I said sarcastically.
I cut his call, blocked his number instantly, and closed my eyes, my mind wandered around to previous interactions with him I traced my fingers over my lips and forehead, and a smile formed on my lips.
"That's fake," I shook my head
" I never marry a man who disrespects and hates women," I said to myself.
